The Pont du Gard

The world-famous Roman aqueduct, the Pont du Gard, is approximately 500m from the property. It is visible from the bottom of the path which leads from the house to the beach.
 

The River

100m from the house, a pebble beach, which is 500m downstream from the Pont du Gard, is lapped by the calm waters of the Gardon River.
 

Castillon du Gard

The Bastide des Pins is situated in the beautifully restored, medieval village of Castillon du Gard.

Within a distance of 15 to 25km, you can discover the towns of Uzès with its famous Saturday market, and Nimes, renowned for its Roman treasures. You can also visit the well-known bridge and Pope's Palace, as well as enjoy the famous theater festival at Avignon.

The nearest beach at the Grau du Roi in the Camargue and the Cévennes hills are within an hour's drive.
